EMI A good live album just became a great one.
It’s always gratifying when those who control back catalogue do the right thing, and in this instance they’ve polished a solid piece of metal into one that now glitters and gleams. The fans loved the original 10-track album recorded on Saxon’s Denim And Leather tour back in the very early 80s, but some journos complained that there just wasn’t enough of it, that it ought to have been a double album. Finally, that’s what we have, with an additional half a dozen tracks captured at Hammersmith.
