Congratulations on continually producing the best rock mag going. I enjoyed issue 57, especially the features on both Mötley Crüe and the most dangerous artists in rock. Forget ‘pretenders’ such as Liam Gallagher and Robbie Williams; Lemmy, Alice, Axl and Ozzy beat these wimps hands down. It pisses me off when the media try to portray the current crop of manufactured shite as being ‘dangerous’. Leave it to the golden oldies – they really know how to rock.

Sean Currie, via email Okay, so Mötley Crüe have had their excessive moments, but then again so have most bands. Take away their tattoos, make-up and over-the-top storiesand what are you left with? Nothing, because their so-called music sucks.

The Crüe can never be put in the same class as Led Zeppelin, The Who or The Stones, because with these bands the music came first, followed by the excesses.

It’s sad that Vince Neil lost a child, but so have Robert Plant, Eric Clapton, Rick Parfitt and Neil Peart. So please, let’s see less of the Mötley bunch in your otherwise excellent magazine.
