Escapi Music Classic thrash from one of the best in the business.
It’s hard to believe now, but at the start of the 1990s there were still those who felt that Testament stood on the verge of a major breakthrough into the league occupied by Metallica et al. But then when you see them in this sort of titanic form it all makes sense.
Originally released on video many moons back, this footage captures the battle- hardened Bay Area band on their 1991 tour, when they blazed with the best and also had that extra spark that separates the real winners from the wannabes.
No fuss, no frills, just honest thrash metal delivered by a band who at the time were on top of their game – and can still give many a right run today.
