I do realise that photographer types spend a great deal of time to get their composition just perfect; arranging, cropping and stuff... so why do you insist on putting an inch of the edge of larger photos over onto the next page? This totally spoils some great photos. It’s not like the mag will lie flat so that you can see it properly anyway. You printed a fantastic early Black Sabbath shot a few months back that I had never seen before, but the right hand side was stuck over on the next page, obscuring and slicing Bill Ward almost in half. Now then, to make amends: 1) stop doing this – NOW – and find some other way of filling in the creases 2) if you send me the mentioned Sabbath photo professionally mounted , framed and signed by all the band, I will forgive your indiscretions gainst the art of ock photography nd pretend it never appened...
