Plus: win two VIP tickets and a vatful of beer!

FORMER GuNs N’ Roses legend Slash is the latest name to be added to the bill of Classic Rock ’s award-winning High Voltage festival at London’s Victoria Park over the weekend of July 23-24.

The guitarist and his band, including singer Myles Kennedy, are Special Guests on the main stage on Saturday. They join headliners Judas Priest and Dream Theater, plus Black Country Communion (turn to page 31 for a chance to win a Joe Bonamassa signature guitar), Jethro Tull, Thunder, Queensrÿche and many more.

Slash isn’t the only Guns N’ Rosesrelated guitarist to be appearing at High Voltage. The reunited Thin Lizzy have recruited current GN’R man Richard Fortus to stand in for otherwiseindisposed guitarist Vivian Campbell for their set.

Away from the music, High Voltage will be a booze-lovers’ paradise this year. As well as the return of the Real Ale tent and a brand new beer festival featuring more than 30 beers and ciders, High Voltage will have its own specially-brewed official beer for the very first time.

Classic Rock is offering one lucky person the chance to win two VIP tickets by coming up with the best name for the official High Voltage beer. Simply log onto to www.facebook.com/ HighVoltageFest, write your suggested beer name on the wall, then invite as many friends as possible to vote. The winner will receive two VIP passes and all the free official High Voltage beer you and a friend can guzzle. Cheers!
