LIVING THINGS CAN’T SEE THE SIMILARITIES From a distance you might be forgiven for confusing Living Things for the last black-clad saviours of rock’n’roll to come sauntering in this direction, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. The same unkempt black hair, permanent scowling and penchant for fuzz guitar. Corey dismisses the similarities. “It’s a strange comparison I gotta say, man. I think their first record was really cool but I don’t think we sound like them. Maybe it’s something to do with the fact we wear black. Honestly. They’ve got that dark thing going on, too, which I like. I’d think we’d go well on a bill with them but I don’t think we’re too much like them.”
