YOU MIGHT HAVE NOTICED THAT THERE’S A NIFTY LITTLE BOOKLET stuck on the cover of this issue of Classic Rock . Following on from the release of the most exciting music DVD to date – that’s Led Zep’s DVD , in case you were wondering – we thought it high time we gave you our definitive guide to the best rock DVDs available to kick-start your collection. Oh, and while we’re on about that DVD, the second part of our special Zep feature – in which Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Robert Plant talk about their latest release in all the detail you’d expect from a Classic Rock interview – begins on page 54 This month I’d also like to welcome a new face to the Classic Rock team, although the name will doubtless be familiar to many, particularly those who read Sounds and Kerrang! in their heyday – Geoff Barton. He begins his new regular column of rock’n’roll recollections on page 24.
