U2 guitarist The Edge has initiated a campaign called Music Rising, which aims to replace musical instruments lost in the hurricanes that devastated America’s Gulf Coast last summer. Singer Bruce Dickinson (pictured) has told MTV Brazil that Iron Maiden are to begin a new studio album in March with producer Kevin Shirley. It is hoped that the follow-up to 2003’s Dance Of Death will be released in the autumn, and it will be followed by a European tour in October.
