Laughing In The Face Of Failure BULLETS 4ND 0 TAT ELL'
Kicking out the hard-partying jams. Twice.
Granted, this super-tattooed LA outfit haven't risen to the heights scaled by their neighbours in Buckcherry or Avenged Sevenfold over their decadestrong career but, laughing or not, failure seems an unduly harsh synopsis. Truthfully, you imagine there's little that would make B&C) want to throw in the towel not when your frontman embarked on a mission to write one song a week last year and certainly not when there's not one, but two albums to plug. Laughing... brings together 2007's Songs For The Underdog and this year's previously iTunesonly, eponymous full-length for a debut UK release. There's an engaging numbskullery to their punked-up rock'n'roll mantras, propelled along with an infectious, adrena Heed grit. And while such rip it up riffola is best suited to short, sharp blasts rather than a double disc, Never Going Down and Devil On The Radio's balls-out overdrive offer perfect power ups.
