Meat takes you to Hell.

He might look increasingly like Bruce Dickinson's dotty American uncle, but on stage Meat Loaf is still a consummate entertainer. And that is amply proved here.

It was always a no brainer for him to perform the whole of the Bat Out Of Hell tryptych. Captured live in Canada, he's in tremendous form. Meat Loaf stalks the stage and audience, hamming it up in a shower of sweat and charisma.

Inevitably all the highlights come from that seminal first album with Paradise By The Dashboard Light and Bat Out Of Hell being the definition of camp rack opera. Overall the presentation is visually thrilling.
