Comin' Atcha Live! 2008

FRONTIERS

Hard-rock craftmanship. Tesla lacked the star power of their illustrious Q-Prime management stablemates Metallica and Def Leppard, but they carved a substantial career with their down-home, jeansan'-T-shirt radio rock. Having ridden out the barren years, they are now successfully entrenched on the circuit as a legacy act. Not content to simply point a camera at the stage, Comin r Atcha... is a thoughtful concert film from Minnesota that captures a sharp but unpretentious shove. What Tesla lack in charisma, they compensate for in stagecraft.

There are a batch of extras, too, one of which shows them on a day off, heading straight for the nearest.., guitar shop. The sex and drugs behind them. Tesla are a band back in love with rock'n'roll.
