From the album 'Ice Cycles' (Inside Out) Every prog rock band worth their salt seems to have at least six or seven side projects on the boil, and John Myung of Dream Theater is no exception. Joining bassist Myung in Platypus are no less than King's X guitarist Ty Tabor, along with drummer Rod Morgenstein, formerly of Winger and Dixie Dregs and ex-Dream Theater keyboard player Derek Sherinian. A bold, exciting piece of work, 'Ice Cycles' is the quartet's second album.
